Office of Wildlife & Fisheries

Welcome

Any Sim can fish - from child age on, and nearly all Sims enjoy it. Fishing is one of the favorite pasttimes of Skasimlaki, and nearly all Sims have - or have made - a small pond in their yards to provide their families with a little extra fun, and income!

Fishing can be a lucrative hobby - or even a full-time job. Fish can be sold fresh, or mounted and sold by any business owner, or sold back to the state for set prices. Fish can also be stocked and cooked by a Sim family for savings in the cost of groceries.

The best time for fishing in Skasimlaki is the fall - when your skill in this enjoyable pasttime builds more quickly.

Be forwarned that leaving fresh fish out on the ground, is an open invitation to cats, kittens, and even wandering penguins.

Variety of FIsh

Skasimlaki's waters are brimming with a variety of fish and sizes sure to make any Sim-angler happy. Here are the types of fish one can catch when fishing in any of Skasimlaki's bodies of water.

All caught fish can either be sold, cooked, or hung on the wall for bragging rights.

Anglers may also - from time to time - fish up a boot; this isn't just a throw-away catch, however! A boot can also be hung on the wall or sold, and - more importantly - it can be mixed in a fruit juicer for a drink that has some odd and fun, yet safe, side-effects.
