Port Allen, Louisiana is located in West Baton Rouge Parish, where it is the parish seat, and has a population of approximately 5,278.

St. Michel, in 1809, was the first recorded settlement where the City of Port Allen now stands. The present-day city was incorporated in 1916.

Jesse "Jed" Landry

Jed Landry was killed along the Rosedale Road, also known as Highway 76, just outside the city of Port Allen. His marker rests next to Lobdell Highway (Highway 415) which connects to Airline Highway (Highway 190).

Ray Langlois

There is little around the lone marker for Ray Langlois on the Rosedale Road, also known as Highway 76, just outside of the city of Port Allen. My research tells me he is most likely 38 year-old Corporal Wilno Ray Langlois who was killed on duty when another vehicle struck his patrol car on Nov 24, 1991.
