Kate Pistachio Rainger passed away peacefully of Old Age, her remains cremated and given to family members.

Eldest daughter, Bethany Rainger, became an Adult and took a vacation to Shang Simla and met Zhan Su.  The two fell in love and were married, and Zhan moved back to Astoria with Bethany.

Elisabetta became an Adult and, soon, an aunt.  Bethany and Zhan rung in the third generation with a daughter, named after her late grandmother, Katie Su.

Ethan retired from his job to spend the rest of his time with his family and his new granddaughter, while Elisabetta moved out of the house to give her sister's new family room to grow and to pursue her own life.  She now resides across the street from Maruna Ocean, at 3 Sun Song Avenue.

Katie became a Child and began to do extremely well in school and was utterly spoiled by her grandfather, who adored her; the two were very close.

Not long after Katie became a Child, Bethany - just herself turned Adult - learned she was pregnant again.  The entire family was thrilled, especially Ethan, who hoped to live long enough to meet his second grandchild.

However, it was not to be.  Ethan took Katie to the beach for some early-morning fishing and, after 8am, Elisabetta came to meet them and spend some time with her father and niece and to tell them about her new boyfriend, Elbert Wainwright, son of Boyd and Susan Wainwright.

Only a couple of hours later, a shadow fell across them - it was the Grim Reaper; Ethan's full and well-lived life was over.

Shortly after Bethany gave birth to another daughter, Edie Su.

Currently, both Bethany and Zhan are Adults, Katie is a teen, and little Edie is a toddler.
