This weekend, I had the very distinct honor of participating in the SL wedding of a very dear friend. MrZoe Ninetails, friend and co-worker at Lounge of Dreams, and his partner Tim Merserau, were married in the lovely Great Hall at Pennyroyal Sim, the home and creation of those two very talented and creative men.

I was not only a bridesmaid for MrZoe, but he asked me to give him away. I was very proud to do so.

The heartiest of congratulations, you two -- may the brightest blessings shower themselves upon you.

Oh, yes -- and then we partied like rockstars.

You know, with all the other things going on this week I forgot to blog about some superfun.

I'm trying to remember what day this was, but I reckon it was Tuesday or Wednesday.

CronoCloud Creeggan, a fellow blogger and someone whom I finally sycophantedly friended at the last SL Bloggers party, was kind enough to start IM'ing me recently. I always enjoy my talks with her, and this day was no exception.

We were talking about diversity in SL, and there's been a little side ruckus over a sign at a store in SL. Whether you think it's a joke or not, no matter how you take it, it at the very least deserved a little fun being poked back at it.

I've been a resident of Pacific Terrace for like, ever. A year. That's a long time. Isadora and I stumbled onto Pacific Terrace about a year ago, and never left. We immediately bought neighboring plots and soon we each had three plots on the island (for the prims, people, THE PRIMS!). We've had tiki gardens, magic forests, sky islands, beach houses, zen gardens, you name it. And we have loved it.

But, something's come up that we can't pass up.

A mutual friend of ours recently purchased her first sim, and as a result has access to Openspaces. After some careful consideration, Isadora and I have decided to take the plunge and get one. I've been considering one for a while, a month or two actually, I just didn't know anybody who could get me (or us) into one. So, it seems this is all just the gentle sway of serendipity.

Izzy and I are primming down and putting our 1024m2 plots up for sale on Pacific Terrace. They are bonus-prim plots, with 300 prims each, and every one has a view of the ocean. Two of the plots, side-by-side, are directly on the water on the south side of the island. Two more are raised up with a direct view of the ocean, behind the two waterfront plots on the south side, side by side. I had a plot on the middle tier of the island facing west, which sold last night. Isadora has a similar plot, right next door to that one -- it's a perfect view of the gorgeous sunset. If I lived on the sunset side of the island, I would just live in sunset all the time.

We love Pacific Terrace. Teddy Qinan makes a concerted effort to keep it a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable place to live. There's a resident-only sandbox on the island as well as a bunch of chillout spots and some game tables, and the covenant is easy to live with and in the best interest of all the residents there.

We'd both highly recommend it, and we're sad to move. But, when someone waves essentially your own custom sim under your nose what can you do?

IM me or Isadora Graves if you or someone you know might be interested in picking up our plots from us. The tier is $10/mo USD or Linden$, and I think most of our plots are paid up through the middle of July. Now is a great time to buy! :P

So who wants to come to a housewarming party after we get the new place all set up? No hurry, knowing me and Isadora it's going to be a festival of perfectionism and tweaking. Hopefully Daman can keep us focused and get us moved in quick. :P Of course, he's just as much a perfectionist as either me or Isadora, so this might end up being quite the project.

He and I spent part of the afternoon yesterday rezzing and walking through urban/industrial loft/studio/warehouse style residence builds courtesy of our friends Noirran Marx and Nate Ninetails. We have so many to pick from, and there were so many we loved. I reckon we're going to have to re-rez them all once we get the land terrarformed before we pick which one we'll keep.

So many fun things in store for us! In the meantime, we're gonna need a place to squat. Marx, you still up for rezzing us a beach blanket and a campfire in your front yard? :P

Best in Red!

It's that time again, friends!

A couple of times a year, made to coincide with RL Diversity celebrations, Lounge of Dreams holds Diversity Week.

It's an entire week dedicated to the diversity in SL (as if we aren't already, but you know what I mean) and we have a TON of fun.

Every night this week, we'll have live DJs and different "Best In" color themes, until Saturday when we'll blow the walls out with Rainbow Night.

Here's our lineup for this week -- all events are 6-10pm with contest starting at 8 and L$500 total prize money:

Tonight (Sunday) was Best in Red w/DJ Noirran, and we had a BLAST!

Monday: Best in Orange w/DJ Rosie & DJ Chaos Koala!
Tuesday: Best in Yellow w/DJ Madisen Tandino & DJ Pangtera Nakamura!
Wednesday: Best in Green w/DJ Carmen Greenfield! (Hip-hop night!)
Thursday: Best in Blue w/DJ Ewan Mureaux & DJ Zarabella Ming!
Friday: Best in Purple w/DJ Rosie & DJ Madisen!
Saturday: Best in Rainbows w/DJ Gorgeous Guen (Rock night!)

I hope you guys can all come out -- however you are, any shape, color, fur, scales, ears, tails, wings, bald, hairy, tiny, tall, big, small, EVERYONE should come out and have some fun with us. It's going to be a complete blast. We always have fun, but this is a great chance for you to stop by and let us get to know you better.

I hope to see a bunch of you -- hit me up for a TP if you see me online and would like a ride, or you can find us right here:

We're still hiring male dancers, if you know anyone who wants to work somewhere fun!

I've been meaning for a while to update my nekoness. I love my kitsune parts, and wanted to make some changes but still stay on the puppy side of things.

I went shopping out and around and bought some things I didn't really like although the idea of them was fun (bushy neko tail called "bondage kitty" with handcuffs, a rope, and a small flogger, but I didn't like the way the script in it made it move), some things I haven't worn yet (longhaired feline ears/tail, panda bear ears/tail), and the lovely auburn Lycan set pictured above from Atomic Kitty, in Auburn.

Then I had to get some hair to go with my new ears (*cough* *cough*) so I went by Fetish Boutique and ended up coming home with Jeni's Curls in the red pack. It's curly and just a little flexi, and covers my human ears (as I've recently had it pointed out to me that if you're having neko ears, your human ears may as well be covered up) so I thought it'd be cute.

Then, I ran into Noirran and we wandered around the Starlust Motel sim, which is directly adjacent to Dogtown sim, home of Urban Bomb Unit who makes the Pornstar chucks. That was a fun trip also, and I got some freebie pants. After I left her, I stumbled into Pudge and picked up those supercute glasses, and we both had happened on Periquita, where I picked up those adorable sculptie shoes for L$50. FIFTY LINDENS.

And then I went home and ogled myself and took pictures.

PS: the "Dirty" set at Subtle Submission by Noirran is ultra-hot. I am not wearing the seethrough mesh ripped top in that picture because of the nippleage, but I do have a picture of it on my flickr. I was trying to find something with no nips showing to wear to the club tonight. :P

Last night, I was very pleasantly surprised, and today I am proud and excited, to announce that I've been asked to join an elite team of crack journalists! *giggles*

I'm the newest blogger to be added to the team over at Mean Girls of SL. I put up my first post already too, although it's not exactly something I'd call cutting-edge. :P

So, I hope to be spewing the contents of my ever-rambling brain all over that lovely blog as well. Won't you stop by and say hi?

While we're busy talking about why this ended up being a pretty good couple of weeks and things that make me proud...
