Okay. So.

Marx Dudek commissioned a photo session with me and Codie, and I was totally flattered and excited, and blogged about it.

The photo that came out of the shoot is NSFW, so it's beyond the cut.

... it'd have been illegal!

Last night's Gym Night up at the LoD was a hell of a lot of fun! Not only did Camthan go all out decorating with working treadmills and exercise equipment (Run, Carmen, run!) but we all got to wear our sweats or T-shirts and tennis shoes and just have a casual ol' time.

Things you missed if you weren't there:

Well, I am *A* boss, anyways.

Y'all know that I've been spending a lot of time hanging out and working at the Lounge of Dreams. It's kind of been my home base since 9.13 closed, and I've gotten to be great friends with the club's owner, Camthan Hax.

I'm leaving myself open to DJ from time to time at Stardust and The Cage, because Carmen and Amber are so amazing and offered me those places to hang my hat as well, but I've been spending most of my time at the Lounge.

Camthan is one of the hardest-working guys in SL. He puts so much time and energy, and love and blood and sweat and tears, into the Lounge of Dreams - that I was inspired to do the same. So, I've been helping him out when I could, posting adverts for events, spreading the word, etc.

I was honored and surprised last night when he asked me if I would like to work as a Manager of the club. He's quite understanding about my SL vs. RL time restrictions, and he's willing to take any help I can give. And in exchange I get to help him brainstorm on the administrative side, help him out with things when he's not around, and work with my other good friend Kere, who has already been a manager at Dreams for a while now.

Last night, Camthan made it official and hung my manager picture/tip picture up inside the club. It warmed the cockles of my heart! Even somewhere below the cockles!

I hope you guys will come up and visit us some night. We have the greatest male revue in all of SL -- and even if male dancers isn't your thing, we are a hell of a lot of fun. Honestly. Even the straight guys who come up and party with us, usually because their girlfriends have dragged them or because they're friends with some of the staff and just want to hang, really like the place. We have a super good time and it's always very laid back. And! Everyone is welcome at the Lounge of Dreams -- men, women, gay, straight, nekos, furries, tinies, robots, mysterious avies of all shapes and sizes, doesn't matter to us. We just want you to be a part of the family.

If you, or anybody you know, is interested in being a male dancer (as in, occasionally naked, dancer) and wants to make a lot of money (I think last night one of the dancers in the club had L$6000 in his tip jar and the others were all around $3000), send them my way. They should be openminded and able to flirt with either gender, and any avie type. We aren't a sex club, so they don't have to worry about that. No dancer is required to do anything but dance, flirt, and have fun.

Lounge of Dreams has events nightly from 6-10 and 6-midnight on weekends. Live DJ's most if not all nights. Contests every night too, with $250 and up for each male and female contest winner.

AND I'M A MANAGER!

C'mon up and have fun with us at Lounge of Dreams in Trapper!

Sorry this post ended up sounding like one big advert, but I'm just excited, and proud of the club and my coworkers, and proud of Camthan, and I want to spread the word. HAPPYFACE!

RL stress and SL crap caught up with me and drove over me like a mack truck.  So for the last few days, I've been down with the typhoid.

Okay, not really -- but I'm uncomfortably ill, and that qualifies.

I haven't been SL'ing very much because I get headaches.  Hopefully I'll be playing tonight a little bit.

I'm proud to announce that I'm going to become a DJ, at least periodically, at Stardust (strip club) and The Cage (non-strip club) as well as possibly doing some dancing at Stardust, and I'm considering taking a job at another start-up club that could involve me being "head dancer" and/or DJ.

So, there's going to be lots and lots of things coming down the pike for Rosie, if I can manage to limp along enough to get in-world for an extended period of time.  :D

Well howdy, everyone.

Yeah. So I hate the drama. So much, in fact, I hate it, that I find myself making changes in order to avoid it, or get away from it. I can't wrap my brain around the mentality that allows people to put so much emphasis on the things that happen in their SLife that they start to truly believe it's more important than what goes on in RL. I will never understand people who just steamroll over others, pointing fingers and pushing blame, while basking in the reflected glow of love that doesn't even rightly belong to them.

I will never, ever, in a million years, understand why people think that SL makes it okay to just do whatever you want, and suck other people dry, with absolutely no regard for the person behind the avatar.

RL Mr. B. has been in Texas for the last week, taking care of some family crisis things that desperately needed his attention. I looked at it originally as a reason to have "as much SL time as I want to have after I'm done with work in RL," but I ended up using it as "lots of time to work in SL."

I danced this week, and I've DJ'ed in two different clubs with an invitation to DJ at a third. It'll be tough to keep up that kind of pace once I actually have a RL life in the evenings with Mr. B. home, but we'll see. DJ'ing makes me the moneys, and with the moneys I can go the shoppingz, and you know, stuff.

So my friend Camthan Hax opened up a very fun club called the Lounge of Dreams (Triphosa 63,28) and that's where I've been doing part of my DJ duties this week. Aside from being a very fun little club, he also has male dancers.

/me looks a little shifty.

So, yeah, that's sort of a side benefit for me if I DJ there. LOL! I get to see the sexy mens. Come on, I dance on a pole as one of my SL jobs, I'm allowed to change it up and be on the receiving end of some masculine eye candy every once in a while! I get to see gorgeous chicks daily, so watching the boys do their thing is fun. Plus, they get a little more playful than the girls do, at least in my limited experience.

If anybody's interested, I have put together an open-enroll group for DJ Rosie B so you can get notices of when I'll be working -- and if anybody's interested, I am DJ'ing an 80s night at the Lounge of Dreams tonight. So, I'd love it if y'all wanted to come by and hang out or say hi. IM me and let me know if you need a limo, or just show up to Triphosa (63,28) after 6pm SLT.

Tell Cammy that I sent you. LOL!

So, I'm house hunting. I'm not moving plot, I just think I might want a new house. I'm on the prowl for something really specific so I figure I better just list it out here. Because I'm coming up absolutely bare, and it's starting to tick me off. My house is HUGE. I'm looking to move into something slightly more cozy, for under 40 prims if I can swing it, that has a Mexico/Baja/Latin America kind of villa-on-the-beach feeling to it. Spain would be acceptible, esp. if there is some kind of tile involved, but overall I'm thinking adobe, saltillo tile, earthy tones, something that wouldn't be out of place on the waterfront (I don't have beach, just waterfront), even something rustic but on the Caribbean side of things might work. I currently have an earthy-toned but modern house that's like 43 prims, lots of windows (yay windows) but it's enormous, with two living rooms, a kitchen (I like my kitchen) and a bedroom as big as some folks' first apartment.

I just want to be able to have a bedroom, a patio or deck, a living room, dining/kitchen, and for it to be cozy and homey. My house right now could house four people comfortably, and it's only me. So, maybe it's time for a little change.

So, where are the cool houses?

Any good fall-winter clothes out right now that might look good on a chubby girl? Tell me!

C'mon you guys, talk back to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, it feels like it's been so long!!!

P.S.:

Come see me!
